City Chorus is a friendly, hard working choir, open to all with no audition. We rehearse on Tuesday evenings in the city and perform several times a year in beautiful venues.
Our musical director is Paul Ayres and our accompanist (piano and organ) is Philip Shannon. Our concerts feature top professional musicians.
Please subscribe to our occasional newsletter.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
If you are enthusiastic and can attend rehearsals regularly, please come and give us a try! We rehearse on Tuesdays, in the City of London. Email Dionne at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sing with us in May
Next term we rehearse Tuesday evenings 7-9pm at St Margaret Pattens (on Eastcheap near the Monument). Our Open Evening with refreshments is on Tuesday 7 May but we also welcome newcomers on 14, 21 and 28 May.
Best of all, there are no auditions. Membership is open to all, at the discretion of our musical director. Some choral singing experience and music reading ability is advantageous, but not essential. All works are thoroughly rehearsed and sound files are available to help you learn the music. Our musical director Paul Ayres conducts and accompanies several choral groups in London and works extensively as a composer and arranger.
£96 per term, £63 concession* (includes 2 concert tickets)

We encourage all members who can afford it to pay the full subscription rates as City Chorus is a charity and we fund ourselves.
