Programme:
A rare performance of Eric Thiman's Christmas cantata "The Nativity", followed by carols and seasonal pieces new and familiar. Join in singing favourite Christmas carols and enjoy choral compositions by Guerrero, Vivaldi and Bach, and arrangements of classic seasonal tunes "We wish you a merry Christmas", "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and "O Tannenbaum". Join us afterwards for a glass of wine and mince pie
The Choir:
The City Chorus was formed in 1920 and performs in concert halls and churches in central London, covering a wide range of music from sixteenth century to modern choral compositions and arrangements.
