Rehearsals are held from 6.15pm to 8.15pm on Tuesdays in the City of London

    • London concert at St Giles Cripplegate with Eén van Zin (a choir from near Eindhoven in the Netherlands) on Saturday 29 April

    • Spring concert "return visit", with the Eén van Zin choir, at Dommelhuis of Breughel en Son, a village near Eindhoven, on Saturday 20 May 2023.

  • Summer term 2023:

    • Summer Term 2023 runs from Tuesday 18 April until 4 July

    • Rehearsals are at 6.15 - 8.15pm, and are held at at St Andrew Holborn except for 25 April and 20 June when they will be at St Giles Cripplegate

    • Our open evening for new singers will be shortly after the spring concert at St Andrew Holborn at 6.15pm - all welcome.  Date TBC

    • Concert repertoire:  

      • Summer concert repertoire: Lotti - Crucifixus, Haydn - Kleine Orgelmesse, Byrd - Ave verum, Elgar - False love, Elgar - Lullaby, Stanford - Quick we have but a second, Rutter - Gaelic Blessing, Mozart - Laudate Dominum, Tallis - O Nata Lux, and MacMillan - O Radiant Dawn

    • Summer concert at St Andrew Holborn at 7.30 p.m. on 7 July 2023

  • Autumn term 2023

    • Autumn Term runs from Tuesday 5 September to 28 November 2023

      • Rehearsals in September are at St Mary Moorfields​

      • Rehearsals in October and November are at St Andrew Holborn, except for 21 November when it will be at St Giles Cripplegate

    • Christmas concert at St Andrew Holborn at 7.30 p.m. on 1 December 2023  -  not on   1 December as previously advised.

  • Covid:

    • No-one should attend if they are unwell, specifically if they have Covid symptoms; have tested positive for Covid.​​​​​​

City Chorus is a friendly, hard working choir, open to all with no audition. We rehearse on Tuesday evenings in the city and perform several times a year in beautiful venues.


Our musical director is Paul Ayres and our accompanist (piano and organ) is Philip Shannon. Our concerts feature top professional musicians.


We are looking for new singers.
