Rehearsals

Rehearsals are held from 6.15pm to 8.15pm on Tuesdays in the City of London, mostly at St Andrew Holborn, EC4A 3AF.​

​Autumn term 2026

  • The Spring term runs from Tuesday 8 September to Tuesday 1 December; all rehearsals are at St Andrew Holborn from 6.15 p.m. to 8.15 p.m, except for 17 November when it will be at St Giles Cripplegate, and 1 December when it will be at St Mark's Church, Regents Park.

  • Open evening on Tuesday 15 September.

  • We will be rehearsing and performing the following works:

    • Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme (Cantata no 140, movements 1 and 7) - Bach

    • We Three Kings (with audience) - Trad

    • Patapan Fantasia - De La Monnoye (arr Snyder)

    • Ave maris stella - Grieg

    • Hark! the herald-angels sing (with audience) - Mendelssohn (adpt Cummings)

    • Jesus child - Rutter

    • Good-will to men, and peace on Earth - Tabakova

    • In the bleak midwinter - McGlade

    • The holly and the ivy (with audience) - Trad

    • Jesus Christ the Apple Tree - Poston

    • Beati quorum via - Stanford

    • Hey, ho, the wind and the rain – Shearing

    • God Rest You Merry Gentlemen (with audience) - Trad

    • White Christmas - Berlin

  • Friday 4 December; rehearsal at 4pm, followed by the Christmas Concert, at 7.30 p.m., at St Andrew Holborn.​

2027 dates

  • Spring term: Tuesday 5 January to Tuesday 16 March, rehearsals will be primarily at St Andrew Holborn from 6.15 p.m. to 8.15 p.m.  

    • Saturday 30 January, One-day Workshop, at St Andrew Holborn

    • Friday 19 March, Spring Concert at 7.30 p.m, at St Andrew Holborn​ – main work: Fauré Requiem, accompanied by small orchestra 

  • Summer term: Tuesday 6 April to Tuesday 6 July, rehearsals will be primarily at St Andrew Holborn from 6.15 p.m. to 8.15 p.m.  

    • ​Friday 9 July, Summer Concert at 7.30 p.m, at St Andrew Holborn

  • Summer Vocal Workshops: Tuesday 27 July, Tuesday 10 August and Tuesday 24 August at St Andrew Holborn from 6.15 p.m. to 8.15 p.m.

  • Autumn term: Tuesday 7 September to Tuesday 30 November, rehearsals will be primarily at St Andrew Holborn from 6.15 p.m. to 8.15 p.m.  

    • ​Friday 3 December 2027, Christmas Concert at 7.30 p.m. at St Andrew Holborn
